(Mount Moriah)

The Dome of the Rock is a shrine built in 684 A.D. in Jerusalem at the site from which Muhammad ascended through the seven heavens to the throne of God.  This is also the place where Abraham went to sacrifice his son, Isaac to the Jews and Christians, Ishmael to the Muslims.  Ever wonder where we got the idea of 7th Heaven?

The Dome of the Rock is lit up beautifully at night and pictures are not able to show its beauty, but I tried.
