What does "Allah" mean?
"Allah" is an Arabic word that when translated into English means "The God." To further define it for Christian understanding "Allah" would be closer defined as "God the Father." All Christians, Jews and Muslims use this word "Allah" when speaking of God in Arabic. There are over 6,800 languages in the world today with 42,000 dialects, all have their own word for our English word, "God."
What does "Muslim" mean?
"Muslim" is an Arabic word meaning "One who submits their will to God." I find this closely represents the Christian concept of being "Born Again." Both are a submitting of ones own Spirit and will, over to the will of God.

"Islam" is an Arabic word meaning "Submission to God." A follower of Islam is called a Muslim, like a follower of Christianity is called a Christian.
Do they believe in Jesus?
Yes, there faith is strongly influenced by Jesus and they recognize Jesus as being the "Messiah." the "Chosen One." The Koran actually mentions Mary more than even the Bible. They are the only other Religion that believes in the "Immaculate Conception of Mary" as a part of their religious doctrine.
Do they believe Jesus is returning?
Yes, they know he is returning. When I asked Ahmad how they know this he replied, "Because he is a prophet, he said he would return, so he will."
The Muslims say Jesus is a Prophet?
Yes, they classify Jesus as a Prophet, and so does the Bible declare Jesus a Prophet plus more. But the Muslims also speak of Jesus as being the Messiah and being one of only 2 men ever made by the hands of God, the only other being Adam.

Is Islam violent?
All religious radicals can be dangerous, Christianity and Islam is no exception. A "True Muslim" like a "True Christian" does not associate itself with such violence and is a very peaceful religion.
Who are the Infidels?
Infidels are the Pagan worshipers that lived throughout Arabia in Mohammad's day. Jews and Christians are known as "People of the Book" and are to be respected as believers and followers of God. The words in the Koran speaking of the killing of the Infidels reminds me of the story of Elijah when he slaughtered the 450 High Priests of Baal in the Kishon Valley after defeating them on Mt Carmel.
What is "Jihad?"
"Jihad" means "Holy War." Although many believe this is Holy War between people, A Wiseman in Jerusalem said, "This is not a war between men, but the war we must all fight that reside within us today."
