1- Fatah Reformists - Analysis

Armed gunmen stormed into, and forced an end to a meeting of 1200
Fatah movement representatives, representing all the West Bank
movement' regions, signaling that the "Young", "old" guards crisis has
been pushed to a dangerous edge.

The violent burst into the Ramallah meeting followed a series of
resignations, submitted by Fatah's young leaders in protest at the old
guards' strong grab of all important positions in the movement and in
the Palestinian Authority institutions.

2-Campaign to raise the case of Arab and Palestinian detainees
IMEMC & Agencies

Prisoners Friends Society in Nazareth initiated a campaign to raise
the case of Arab and Palestinian detainees held in Israel ; Israel
denies the presence of those detainees and rejects to discuss this
issue.

Qadry Abu Wasel, secretary of the society said that there are hundreds
of Arab and Palestinian detainees who have practically "disappeared",

"Those detainees are in solitary, Israel refuses even to talk about
them", Abu Wasel said.
