TRUE PEACE
Walt Disney was quoted as saying. “Our dreams create our reality.” If we want peace to be a reality, let us begin to focus, pursue and dream of peace.
First of all, any one reading this must understand that I condemn the death of all innocent civilians no matter what their religion, belief, or race is. What I hope to do is promote options and ideas available for “True Peace.” Some of the current disagreements can be found simply in fully defining the words that we use. I hope to help clarify some of this so that peace may progress and that people may begin to understand each other. Upon these dreams and ideas I hope to encourage others to follow by helping to compile their own dreams on top of the ones written here. I yearn for the day that I may be able to see “True Peace” and unity among all the people of Israel. I love this land and I love all the people.
It is the consensus of all the people that I spoke with in Israel and Palestine, and my personal belief as well, that most of the problems with achieving peace in Israel is primarily due to the politics and politicians involved with Israel, Palestine, America and the Arab Nations. The people truly want peace and are not only able to, but are in support of it as well. It was with Gods guidance, talking with all the people on my journeys, and listening to their dreams and ideas that has resulted in this accumulation of ideas and words. This is where most of the politicians seem to fall short. This is not a fault of their own, but because of the circle of violence evident today and the positions they hold, their security would be compromised in doing so.
I see a future, where Arab and Jew will take out their passion for life on the football field (American Soccer). I would love to see the development of a playing field in Jerusalem where the best of the Arabs in the land will compete against the best of the Jewish community and they would engage in friendly conflict in a controlled environment. In America we have learned that competition is good for states, communities, and Spirit, and bringing this controlled conflict to those in Israel and Palestine today.
The key of Jerusalem will be to reestablish relations among the Israeli and Palestinian communities. In order for peace to begin, the seed of peace must be planted and there is no better place to start than Justice in Jerusalem. Quoting Darren Booker, and Israeli soldier who was in battle in Lebanon and saw a Palestinian woman die and her baby blown out of her arms and land in front of him. The baby was dead and with a tear in his eye he looked at me and said, “Nothing makes this right.”
May the Spirit of God guide the reader into dreaming of a prosperous and loving future that can become a reality.
