One man I met on my journey, and elderly man, asked me to deliver a message to the American people. He said, “Tell them an old man said that we appreciate your presents and gifts, your missiles, F-16’s and Apaches, but we don’t need any more of these. What we need is peace.” I felt this man was worthy of being heard.
I was welcomed everywhere I went by the Palestinians and found only problems where the Israeli soldiers were present. The path of destruction is overwhelming; it’s like a huge earthquake that has leveled so many areas.
Business and internal corruption has been influencing the White Houses diplomacy and has forced America to compromise the fundamental foundation that has made this a great nation, and that is JUSTICE. Business and money does need to be a factor in decisions coming forth from the White House, but these decisions should NEVER compromise Justice. With 15 Terrorists being from Saudi Arabia one has to ask, what if Palestine had the oil and Saudi did not, how would things be different? Also, what would be the results today if America removed land from the Native Americans by force and destroyed their homes and business’s? It is time for the American people to wake up its government and stand for what is right, fair and just.
When I asked the Peace Keepers, other Americans and the local people there, “What do you believe it will take for America to become involved?” The answer was unanimous, “A much larger massacre.” I also agree, but this can be avoided. If we do not intervene soon this situation will continue to escalate and could become so large scale that the world, even us in America will become horrified. If this occurs and our unwillingness to become involved allows this, this would be the worst form of sin this country could perpetrate upon another by neglect. There comes a time when patience is no longer a virtue, and this time has come.
