Sex Education

Today we have so many graduating from high school that have been taught all about sex, but have had no classes focused upon relationships.  Many come from divorced homes, and those who do not will encounter many who do that will affect them as well.  Their understanding of relationships is the animosity between their divorced parents, which has torn them apart for years and left them feeling some level of rejection and confusion.  Many search for another to fulfill their feelings of emptiness, longing and loneliness, and then soon many become pregnant in their confusion over love.  They have little concept on how to have a healthy argument, what is involved in choosing a mate, and what commitment and honor truly means.  Sex Education should become a secondary course as part of a broader perspective of courses on relationships, family, and community in schools today.

Parents today are not as concerned about outside terrorists coming in, but the one student who one day comes to school with a gun and begins to go on a shooting rampage.  Our world is not going down the tube because our kids don't know their math or science, but because of a loss of compassion, love, family, and relationships in our culture today.

A woman by nature seeks a mate, but it is a pity that today so many do not understand that a man may desire that a woman submit to his advances, but he seeks (to marry) the one who says, "No!"
