Another Day of Despair

As dawn approaches

Another day comes

A night of madness

Turns to hope again

As each door closes

They fade away

My heart mourns out

For the loss of yesterday

The pain of yesterdays

Brings emptiness to my soul

They bind me in hate

A world so cold

Molding my character

Reassured in my faith

I look to the heavens

To make it thru this day

The doors that open

Seem so far away

Unreachable they seem

At least on this day.

Faith in the unknown

Is all that I have

I trust in him

And His guiding hand.
